The official logo has already been widely criticized as a "facepalm" and it truly does look hilarious when you look at it that way.
As expected, despite the 1.2 billion people we have in our country, we have still not found a team good enough to qualify for this world cup too. Sad!
But that is not going to stop the soccer lovers among us from watching the matches of our favorite teams from whistle to whistle.
But sadly, all matches will take place at ungodly hours for us! Get ready to lose a lot of sleep...

All text in blue fonts above are links to respective Wikipedia pages (in case that was not obvious).
I have included only the timings for the Group Stage Matches (which in itself took too much of my time!).
Hope you found this helpful. If you did (or worse, if you found an error) do let me know in the comments below.
All timings taken from this Wikipedia link and (painfully!) converted to IST using www.timeanddate.com.
So let's all get ready for the biggest event of 2014. As the Official Slogan for this World Cup says, "ALL IN ONE RHYTHM!"
- Cheers!
Vous blog est accrocheur. Je reçois du plaisir. Merci pour le partage de ce beau morceau de l'écriture avec moi.
ReplyDeleteMerci :)
Deleteon 14th there is a match b/w England and Italy but in the above schedule the same match is on 15th but timing is not right
Delete@Irfan: that's bevause where you saw it, it was in pacific time. This is in IST.
Deletethanx dude!!! would be supporting germany all the way!!
Deletedude... you've done a great job...
ReplyDeletebut you've missed a simple logic and made a splendid blunder..:D
if the time is 17.00 in Brazil on 12th, then the time in India will be 00.30 on 13th..:)
According to your schedule, we can watch and know the result even before the players get their dressing rooms..:D
Oh Boy! I can't believe that I screwed this up despite checking multiple times. Thanks a zillion for pointing this out, dude.
DeleteI have updated the whole thing and re-re-rechecked it again. Just to correct you there, actually when it is 17.00 in Brazil on 12th, then the time in India will be 01.30 on the 13th, considering Daylight Savings.
But as you pointed out, I was way off from the actual times. Once again, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment here.
One more thing here.. you've talked about Daylight Saving.
Deletein India, there will be no daylight saving in this year..
so the time will be 00.30 only, but not 01.30 in India..:)
the time difference will be only 7:30 hours..
In Brazil, there is... :) I meant Brazil...
DeleteIf you are so smart then why did you even bother to check.
DeleteThanks. Was looking for it.
